POVERTY SIMULATION EXPERIENCE
Here's what to expect:
This will be an opportunity for an immersive experience of what it's like to live in poverty in our community, and to explore how our community can address this so that everyone can thrive.
When you arrive, you will be assigned a role as a member of a family for the simulation experience. We will provide an orientation and specific instructions and together with your 'family' you will move through a simulation of a month in the life of that family, with each week represented during a 15 minute period. A debrief of the experience will follow.
Food will be available during this event. The poster below can be downloaded to share with colleagues, friends and families, or to post in your workplace to encourage others to register to participate.
