Supporting Local Food Access Partners
The Food Hub works with local “spoke” organizations and community partners that provide emergency food programs. Together, this work helps strengthen coordination, share resources, and improve access to healthy food for community members experiencing food insecurity.
Farmers' Market Donation Station
Collecting fresh food donations from June to October and distributing them to local organizations providing food access programs throughout Williams Lake.
Cariboo Seed Project
Supporting local seed saving, food literacy, and access to seed adapted to
Cariboo growing conditions.
Emergency Food Program Support
Providing coordination, funding support, resource sharing, and relationship-building among organizations responding to food insecurity.
Food Security Education
Sharing practical information and resources related to food production, food donation, seed saving, and local food systems.

Collaboration at the Centre
The Central Cariboo Community Food Hub serves as a connector within the regional food system. By bringing together organizations, producers, governments, institutions, and community members, the Food Hub helps align efforts, reduce duplication, share resources, and create opportunities for collaboration that no single organization could achieve alone.
Looking Ahead
Food security is an ongoing community effort. The Food Hub continues to explore opportunities that improve food access, strengthen local food systems, support community partnerships, and respond to emerging needs across the Central Cariboo.
