Food Security Education
The Food Hub shares practical food security education to support local growers, gardeners, organizations, and community members. These resources help build food knowledge, reduce food waste, and strengthen local food systems.
Cariboo Seed Project
The Cariboo Seed Project supports local gardeners and farmers with access to seed adapted to Cariboo growing conditions. The seed library includes seed sourced from local growers and British Columbia farms, and encourages gardeners to grow, save, and share seed back into the community.
Donating Food
Food donation can help reduce food waste and support community food access. The Food Hub shares information about what can be donated, food donor protections, and the difference between best before and expiry dates.

The Food Hub welcomes community members, organizations, growers, and partners who want to support local food security and strengthen the regional food system.
Support Local Food Access
Donate healthy, non-perishable food or contribute to the Farmers’ Market Donation Station during the market season.
Financial Contributions
Financial donations payable to the Social Planning Council of Williams Lake & Area are accepted. Tax receipts are not available.

Donate locally grown seed or get involved in seed-saving and growing initiatives.
